Survey rewards: eligibility, screen-outs, and validation

Understand why surveys screen people out, how completions are validated, and what you can do for a more reliable survey experience.

Updated: 2 September 2026 About 5 minutes

Surveys are not identical questionnaires open to everyone. Researchers need specific age, country, behavior, or profile groups. A screen-out is not always an error; it often means you do not match the audience required for that study.

Why does survey matching change?

A research project may need people in a particular country, age range, or customer group. The provider uses available profile data and early screening questions to check that match.

Seeing a survey does not guarantee completion. A quota may fill, your answers may not match the required audience, or the project’s availability may change while it is running.

Why can a survey screen you out partway through?

Some surveys check eligibility in more than one stage. Inconsistent answers, unusually fast progress, duplicate participation, quality-control questions, or a full quota can cause the provider not to accept a completion.

You can also be screened out after answering honestly. That alone does not mean there is a problem with your account. If you repeatedly see a technical failure, contact support with the survey reference and approximate time.

What is a verified completion?

The provider sends an event when it recognizes a completed survey. Tivarelo connects the event to the correct user and session, prevents duplicate credits, and records the result in the Coin ledger.

If the provider later corrects an event as invalid, refunded, or ineligible, its Coins and connected referral reward may be reversed. This helps keep the reward system sustainable when completions are disputed or fraudulent.

What you can do for a better experience

Keep your profile truthful, read each question, and answer consistent facts consistently. Avoid repeatedly refreshing the survey, using a VPN, or participating through another person’s account.

  • Use a stable connection and a current browser.
  • Start only when you have enough time to finish.
  • Do not expose personal or sensitive information in screenshots.
  • Include the survey reference and approximate time when reporting a problem.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I earn Coins when a survey screens me out?

Coins are generally awarded only when the provider reports a successful, eligible completion. The provider event determines the result of an individual survey.

Why are no surveys available today?

Current studies may not match your profile, country, or device. Survey inventory can change throughout the day and by region.

Will a VPN give me more surveys?

Trying to bypass country or eligibility restrictions with a VPN is against the rules and can lead to rejected completions or an account review.
